Robbers In Logan Square, Hermosa Attack Victims Before Stealing Money, Police Say

Robbers have struck three times this month in Logan Square and Hermosa, police said.

LOGAN SQUARE — Robbers have attacked and stolen from people at least three times this month in Logan Square and Hermosa, police said.

During the robberies, the men drove a white van or an SUV and pulled up next to the victims, according to a Chicago Police community alert. One or two men then got out of the car and walked up to the victims.

The robbers attacked the victims and then stole, or attempted to steal, money and property from them, police said.

The robberies occurred:

  • 11:30 p.m. April 15 in the 4200 block of West Dickens Avenue
  • Midnight April 16 in the 2600 block of North Mozart Street
  • 8:25 p.m. April 16 in the 2300 block of North Sawyer Avenue

In one instance, the robber was described as a bald man who was 30-40 years old, police said. During another incident, the robbers were described as two men who were 20-25 years old.

In a third instance, one man was described as Hispanic, 23-27 years old and 5-foot-10. The other man was described as 30-35 years old.
