CHICAGO — You can snag a free hot dog at The Wieners Circle on Thursday night.
But don’t dilly dally: The world-famous stand, 2622 N. Clark St., will give away just 100 of its dogs during “Hot Dog Happy Hour” starting at 5 p.m. Thursday. The offer ends at 7 p.m.
The giveaway is being hosted by the Chicago Dogs, a Rosemont-based baseball team that’s named in tribute to Chicago’s beloved food.
Wieners Circle is open 10:30 a.m.-4 a.m. Thursday. The longtime stand is as famous for its food as its bawdy atmosphere — with staff yelling insults at patrons once it gets late and its sign often featuring insults and curse words — and has appeared on numerous TV shows.
