CHICAGO — Dozens of musicians will take to Lakeview’s porches to perform live during a summer festival.
PorchFest will feature live music, activities for kids and an event hub where attendees can buy craft beer and treats from food trucks, according to a news release.
It will be held June 2, with musicians performing on residential porches around Southport, Lincoln and Wellington.
Those interested in hosting musicians on their front porch during the festival can sign up online.
Musicians will each have 45-minute sets and will need to bring their own sound equipment. They aren’t paid but can put out a tip jar. Signup to perform is available online.
The event is 1-5 p.m. June 2 around Southport, Lincoln and Wellington. The event hub is St. Alphonsus Church, 1429 W. Wellington.
