CHICAGO — Three men tried to abduct an 11-year-old girl Thursday in South Chicago, police said.
At 8:30 a.m., the girl was walking in the 8400 block of South Exchange Street when three men in a gray car pulled up to her, police said. The man sitting in the front passenger seat opened his door and yelled at the girl, telling her to get in the car.
The girl ran to a nearby school and the men drove away, possibly going east on 83rd Place from Commercial Street, police said.
The men were in a gray, four-door SUV. The man who yelled at the girl had a mohawk hairstyle and a mole on his nose, police said.
