Man Punched In Face By Group Of Attackers At Jackson Blue Line Station, Police Say

The attack happened Wednesday night and left the man hospitalized.

CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was attacked by a group of men Wednesday night near the Jackson Blue Line Station, police said.

At 10:17 p.m., the man was on the platform in the 300 block of South Dearborn Street when three men attacked him, police said. They punched the man in his face multiple times, injuring his eyes and face.

The man was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.

No one was in custody and no description of the attackers was available.

An investigation was ongoing.
