CHICAGO — A man tried to order a 14-year-old girl to get into his car earlier this month after exposing himself in Albany Park, police said.

The incident happened April 1 and police sent out a community alert about it on Sunday night.

At 7:15 a.m. April 1, the girl was at a CTA bus stop in the 4200 block of North Kimball Avenue when two men in a car stopped nearby, police said. The passenger opened his door, pulled down his pants and exposed himself to the girl. He told her to get into the car.

The girl ignored the man and the two men drove off, going south on Kimball Avenue, police said.

The man who exposed himself was Hispanic, in his mid-20s and had dark-colored hair, no facial hair and wore a black jacket and sunglasses, police said. The men were in a white van.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call police at 312-744-8200.
