DOWNTOWN — Street sweeping season officially began Monday.
Sweepers have already begun going through the streets to clean litter and debris. The city can tow cars or fine people $60 for not moving their cars when they’re parked in the way of a street sweeper.
The city posts neon orange signs about street sweeping to warn residents. People can also look at a schedule for street sweeping in their wards and can track individual street sweepers online.
Street sweeping season ends Nov. 1.
