Downtown Restaurants Hit 4 Times By Burglar, Police Say

The most recent burglary happened March 22 in the first block of West Randolph Street, police said.

DOWNTOWN — A burglar has forced his or her way into Downtown restaurants at least four times this month, police said.

The burglar got into the restaurants by prying open front doors and breaking doors with glass panels, according to a Chicago Police business alert. He or she forced open registers and took money and other items from the eateries.

The burglaries occurred:

  • 5:27 a.m. March 11 in the first block of East Madison Street
  • 7:19 p.m. March 20 in the first block of North Dearborn Street
  • 11:06 p.m. March 22 in the first block of North Dearborn Street
  • 11:21 p.m. March 22 in the first block of West Randolph Street

No description of the burglar was available.
