CHICAGO — Teenagers robbed and carjacked at least three people in just two days in Lincoln Park, police said.
The victims were inside or near their cars when the teens walked up to them and said they were robbing them, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The teens took the victims’ property, threatened them and took their cars.
The incidents occurred:
- Sunday evening in the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue
- Sunday evening in the 2200 block of North Lincoln Park Avenue West
- Monday morning in the 2300 block of North Cleveland Avenue
The robbers were described as three to four boys who were 16-19 years old, police said. The teens used a dark gray SUV during the robberies.
