CHICAGO — Two men were shot and wounded Tuesday night in Uptown, police said.
At 8:14 p.m., the men were walking on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of West Argyle Street when someone walked up to them and fired shots, police said.
One man, 27, was hit multiple times throughout his body. He was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, police said.
A 23-year-old man was hit in his jaw and he was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
No one was in custody. An investigation was ongoing.
