CHICAGO — Burglars have broken into North Side stores to steal makeup and other beauty products twice this week, police said.
During the burglaries, two men got into the businesses using a crow bar or similar tool, according to a Chicago Police business alert. They stole beauty products and cosmetics then left. In one instance, the men got away in a white or silver-colored pickup truck.
The burglaries occurred:
- 5:34 a.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of North Southport Avenue
- 5:50 a.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of North Halsted Street
The burglars were described as two men who wore all-black clothing, police said.
