CHICAGO — Eight mayoral candidates will debate policy, police reform and other issues at a Friday event focused on millennials.
The debate, which is set to feature the majority of the candidates running for Chicago mayor, will be held at Kenwood High School, 5015 S. Blackstone Ave.
Gery Chico, Lori Lightfoot, Bob Fioretti, LaShawn Ford, Garry McCarthy, Paul Vallas, Susana Mendoza and John Kozlar will be part of the debate. Reporter Mary Ann Ahern will moderate with Ja’Mal Green, an activist who also ran for mayor.
The debate is 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at Kenwood High School, 5015 S. Blackstone Ave. The event is free. Attendees can RSVP online.
