CHICAGO — A newly revealed video allegedly shows singer R. Kelly assaulting an underage girl, attorney Michael Avenatti said.

The video is 42 minutes long and was not previously known to the public or to law enforcement, Avenatti said in a statement. It allegedly shows a man, who Avenatti said is Kelly, assaulting a girl, with both making comments about her “14-year-old p—-,” according to CNN, which said it’s reviewed the video.

The two perform sex acts and the man asks the girl or woman to urinate, according to CNN. She does, and the man then urinates on her.

The acts shown in the video occurred within Illinois’ statute of limitations, and the video has been given to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Avenatti said. State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office told Block Club they “could not confirm or deny an investigation.”

“Mr. Kelly is a predator and a criminal who has [preyed] on young, vulnerable girls for far too long,” Avenatti said. “The time has come for him to finally be held accountable for his actions.”

The video was given to Avenatti’s office by a man who has known Kelly for “decades,” Avenatti told CNN.

Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg, said the singer has “always followed the law” in a statement on Twitter.

But Kelly could soon be indicted and arrested, a senior law official told reporter Jim DeRogatis.

Renewed attention has been focused on Kelly following the release of a six-part docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly,” in which alleged victims discuss the singer’s involvement with underage girls.

After the docuseries came out, Foxx said families of some missing women who are linked to Kelly reached out to her office. She encouraged alleged victims of Kelly’s to come forward and speak to prosecutors.

Kelly’s Near West Side recording studio was also searched by city inspectors, who said there was evidence people were illegally living there.

A different video, which allegedly showed a man assaulting and peeing on an underage girl, led to Kelly being charged with child pornography. He was found not guilty in that case in 2008.
