CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot during an argument Tuesday night in West Ridge, police said.
At 7:05 p.m., the man was in an alley in the 6200 block of North Leavitt Street when someone walked up to him, took out a gun and fired a shot, police said. The man was hit in his left thigh.
The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
The shooting happened during an argument and a person of interest was in custody, police said.
