CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who they said has been snatching phones from Pink Line riders.
The two robberies happened when riders were sitting on trains at the Ashland station, 1601 W. Lake St., according to a Chicago Police Community Alert. The robber went up to the victims, took their phones and ran off the trains.
The robberies occurred:
- at 4:10 p.m. Jan. 17
- at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 29
The robber was described as an 18- to 23-year-old man who was 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2 and 150-170 pounds, police said.
