WEST RIDGE — A police SWAT team responded to a barricade situation that ultimately ended peacefully in West Ridge Tuesday.
The call started as a battery in progress at a building in the 6400 block of North Ridge Boulevard, police said.
A man barricaded himself inside at around 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
The SWAT team came out and road were closed in the area.
But by early afternoon, a police spokesman said the situation ended peacefully.
“Adult male in custody,” police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted. “No injuries to offender or officers.”
