CHICAGO — A Garfield Park group is looking for volunteers who can help kids after school.
Breakthrough Youth Network, a nonprofit group focused on helping children and families, is looking for volunteers who can help kids in kindergarten through eighth grade with homework, tutoring and other activities, a spokeswoman said.
After-school volunteers are needed at least one day a week 4:30-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday during the school year.
