AUBURN GRESHAM — BJ’s Market is offering free dinners to government employees who aren’t getting paid due to the government shutdown.

The restaurant and bakery has teamed up with St. Sabina and White Sox executive Kenny Williams to offer the deal, according to a St. Sabina news release.

Federal workers who aren’t being paid will be able to go to the BJ’s Market at 1156 W. 79th St. to receive a free dinner until the shutdown ends. Those trying to take advantage of the offer need to show a government ID.

The government shutdown is now the longest such shutdown in United States history.
