CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot while walking early Friday in Little Village, police said.

At 12:57 a.m., the man was walking in the 2300 block of South Sawyer Avenue when a man or boy got out of a gray minivan and fired shots at him, police said.

The victim was hit in one of his hands and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody. An investigation was ongoing.
