CHICAGO — City vendors are selling jewelry made from bones, taxidermied animals and other bizarre items for the Oddities and Curiosities Expo later this year.
The two-day expo will feature dozens of local vendors selling “creepy” and “strange” items, including artwork, items made from bones, handpainted dolls and antiques, according to its Facebook event page.
The event will also offer up a $100 taxidermy class, live human suspension and “sideshow” performances.
The expo is from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. July 20 and 21 at the Odeum Expo Center, 1033 N. Villa Ave. in Villa Park. General admission is $10 per day or $18 for a weekend pass, and tickets can be purchased online.
The traveling expo will also visit Minneapolis, Detroit, Austin, Atlanta and other cities in 2019, according to the expo’s website.
