LOGAN SQUARE — At least four homes in Logan Square have been burglarized within the last two weeks, according to police.
The more recent incidents happened last week.
In one incident, a burglar broke in while the resident was at work and stole a TV, computer equipment and gift cards. In the other, a burglar broke into the garage and stole tools.
The burglaries were reported in the:
• 2500 block of West Belden Avenue between 11:40 a.m.-12:20 p.m. on Dec. 13
• 2500 block of West Belden Avenue between 10:00 p.m.-10:00 a.m. on Dec. 11-12
The earlier incidents both happened around the same time on Dec. 6.
In one incident, a burglar broke in and stole computer equipment, loose change, alcohol and jewelry. In the other, a burglar broke in and stole computer equipment and a camera.
The incidents were reported in the:
• 2200 block of North Western Avenue between 10:00 a.m.-6 p.m. on Dec. 6
• 2200 block of North Western Avenue between 9:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Dec. 6
Police did not provide descriptions for any of the burglars.
