CHICAGO — It’s a Festivus miracle: A “Seinfeld”-themed dinner and cooking class is coming to Lakeview.
Chef StephenB will show attendees how to cook up appetizers during the event at Get in the Kitchen, 3617 N. Broadway. Afterward, diners will eat a four-course dinner centered around the foods of “Seinfeld,” can enjoy a “Kavorka Kocktail” and can win prizes during “Seinfeld”-themed trivia and games.
“Seinfeld” ran 1989-1998, with the hugely popular sitcom following comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his friends Elaine, George and Kramer as they dealt with close talkers, pirate shirts and shrinkage.
Tickets will be $79 and can be bought online. The pop-up will be held 7 p.m. Feb. 15, 16, 22 and 23 at Get in the Kitchen, 3617 N. Broadway.
The event is BYOB.
Here’s the full menu:
First course: Elaine’s infamous “big salad”
Second course: Seasonal soups (as long as you don’t anger the Soup Nazi) with a muffin top
Third course: Brined and roasted chicken like you’d get from Kenny Rogers Chicken Shack with a side of Newman’s “favorite,” broccolini
Fourth course: Rotating desserts, which might include Jerry’s beloved black and white cookie or a housemade Twix (which you’ll have to eat with a fork and knife, presumably)
