String Of Cars Stolen From Little Village Streets, Police Say

In five separate incidents, vehicles were stolen off the street during a span of 38 hours, police said in a community alert.

LITTLE VILLAGE — Police are warning residents after a spate of car thefts in Little Village last week.

Five vehicles were stolen off the street during a span of 38 hours, police said in a community alert.

The car thefts occurred in the follow locations:

  • 3100 block of South Hamlin Avenue between 4 p.m. Nov. 26,  and 5:50 a.m. Nov. 27.
  • 2700 block of South Kolin Avenue between 6 p.m. Nov. 26, and 5 a.m. Nov. 27.
  • 2600 block of South Kildare Avenue between 3 p.m. Nov. 27, and 5 a.m. Nov. 28.
  • 2800 block of South Tripp Avenue between 10 p.m. Nov. 27, and 7 a.m. Nov. 28.
  • 3100 block of South Lawndale Avenue between 11 p.m. Nov. 27, and 6:05 a.m. Nov. 28.
