CHICAGO — A one-night pop-up dedicated to the “Golden Girls” is coming to Lakeview.
The event will feature a full dinner, a demonstration of how to make pierogi, trivia, karaoke and party games — all of it themed around the classic show.
“Golden Girls,” which ran 1985-1992, focused on the lives of four sassy older women played by Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty.
To follow the theme, the event’s dinner menu will include items like Stanley Zbornak’s toasted pierogi in honor of Dorothy’s husband, Rose’s St. Olaf salad and Big Daddy’s beef short rib for Blanche’s father, who everyone calls “Big Daddy.”
The event is 7-10 p.m. Dec. 7 at Get in the Kitchen, 3617 N. Broadway. Tickets are $79 online.
