PILSEN — Pilsen Community Market is bringing their indoor winter market back starting this weekend.
Featuring more than 25 local Latino-owned businesses, the indoor community market returns to Honkey Tonk BBQ, 1800 S. Racine Ave., from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Shoppers will have a chance to peruse offerings from Avrom Farm, Yvolina’s Tamales, Westside Bee Boyz, Amor y Sofrito, Sitka Salmon, Milk and Honey Farmstead and many more vendors throughout the Pilsen Community market’s winter season.
“It’s a showcase of diverse products from the surrounding community, and yet so much more,” Pilsen Fest director Esmirna García said in a statement.
The market will also feature live music from DJs, bands, trios of various genres every week, as well as live cooking demonstrations from bakers and food vendors.
“We are looking for our vendors to engage our customers more so that they can truly get an idea of the love and passion that is poured into the work they create,” García added.
The Pilsen Community Market takes place every other Sunday until April.
