CHICAGO — A 16-year-old girl was raped and robbed Monday in Roseland, police said.
At 12:35 p.m., the girl was walking in the 10900 block of South Michigan Avenue when a man drove up to her and started talking to her, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The man pulled the girl into his car and showed her a weapon, police said.
The man drove the girl to an alley in the 11300 block of South Michigan Avenue and raped and robbed her, police said.
The man was described as black, in his late 30s, slim and with brown eyes and short, black hair, police said. He drove a white, four-door car.
