WEST LOOP — Chicago foodies will have a chance to rub elbows with some of the city’s top chefs when they come together to raise money for a charity this week in Fulton Market.
Meals on Wheels Chicago’s 30th Celebrity Chef Ball will feature more than 60 chefs and mixologists from across the city. There will also be a silent auction and dancing at the Friday night event at Morgan Manufacturing, 401 W. Morgan St.
Alpana Singh, restaurateur and host of WTTW’s “Check Please!”, will host the fundraiser, which includes guest chefs Ryan McCaskey of Acadia, Devon Quinn of Eden and Johnny Besch of BLVD.
Tickets are on sale now. For $200, guests will get access to more than 40 chef and cocktail stations, a raffle, silent auction and dancing, which kicks off at 8:30 p.m. and ends at 12:30 a.m.
For $400, guests will enjoy a VIP Chef’s Table, which includes a cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m., a six-course dinner, live auction and access to all of the chef and cocktail stations.
All proceeds will benefit Meals on Wheels Chicago’s efforts to provide meals for senior citizens and people with disabilities.
