Four Portage Park Homes Broken Into In Recent Days, Police Warn

Items reported stolen included electronics, jewelry, cash and lawn care equipment.

PORTAGE PARK — Police issued an alert after four Portage Park homes were broken into since Oct. 25.

Items like electronics, jewelry, cash and lawn equipment were reported stolen from homes that were entered through their front and rear doors.

Police say some of these doors were left unlocked.

These burglaries happened:
• In the 5900 block of West Grace Street between 11:15 p.m. Oct. 25 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
• In the 5900 block of West Addison Street between 7:40 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
• In the 5900 block of West Addison Street between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
• In the 5900 block of West Patterson Avenue at 10:46 a.m. Nov. 1. 

Anyone with information on these burglaries is being asked to contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
