CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a Tuesday morning shooting in Humboldt Park, police said.
At 9:48 a.m., the teen was in the 1000 block of North Avers Avenue when someone got out of a car and fired shots at him, police said. The boy was hit in his left shoulder.
The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
The gunman had been in a white Jeep, police said.
No one was in custody. An investigation was ongoing.
