PORTAGE PARK — Police issued an alert after four Portage Parl homes were burglarized during the month of October.
The homes had their front, rear or side doors or windows kicked in or pried open, police said. Police did not say what kind of items were stolen from the homes.
The four break-ins happened in the:
• 5100 block of West Eddy Street at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 10
• 5300 block of West School Street sometime between Oct. 13 and Oct. 28
• 4800 block of West Warwick Avenue at 3 p.m. on Oct. 24
• 5300 block of West Patterson Avenue at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 26
