CHICAGO — Two people were shot Sunday afternoon in Rogers Park.
At 4:38 p.m., a 23-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1700 block of West Jonquil Terrace when someone got out of a car and fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit in his left leg and left arm. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition, police said.
A 24-year-old man who was walking on the sidewalk at the time heard shots and felt pain, police said. The man was hit in his left arm and he took himself to St. Francis Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
The attacker was in a black, four-door car, police said.
No one was in custody and an investigation was ongoing.
