CHICAGO — A suburban man has been charged with robbing people in the West Loop earlier this month.
Lawrence Booth, 34, of suburban Oak Forest, has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, attempted robbery and possession of a controlled substance, according to a Chicago Police news release.
Booth committed “numerous” robberies where he’d imply he had a gun and then demanded cash from victims, police said.
Police said the robberies Booth has been charged with occurred:
• 7:37 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 1000 block of West Lake Street
• 9:10 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 800 block of West Monroe Street
• 10:11 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Lake Street
Booth was scheduled to appear in Bond Court on Friday.
