CHICAGO — A 42-year-old man was shot Tuesday night in the Near North Side.
At 8:10 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of West Chestnut Street when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The man’s back was grazed by a bullet and he was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody and an investigation was ongoing.
