UPTOWN — Businesses in the city’s Uptown neighborhood were broken into last week, according to police.
Four businesses had their windows or glass doors smashed with a brick or a piece of concrete in order to enter the building. Items reported stolen included cash from the registers.
These burglaries happened in the:
• 1000 block of West Argyle Street at 2:47 a.m. Oct. 14
• 5100 block of North Clark Street at 3:11 a.m. Oct. 16
• 4800 block of North Broadway between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 15 and 9 a.m. Oct. 16
• 1000 block of West Lawrence Avenue at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 19
