CHICAGO — A woman was raped Thursday night in South Shore, police said.

At 11 p.m., the woman, 21, left a bus stop at 75th Street and Coles Avenue and was walking south on Exchange Avenue when she saw a man following her, police said. The man grabbed the woman in the 7700 block of South Saginaw Avenue and sexually assaulted her.

The man was 22-26 years old, black, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 and slender, police said. He had shoulder-length dreadlocks and wore a dark-colored skull cap and dark-colored clothing.
