CHICAGO — Murderinos, Split-Rail’s got a dinner series celebrating your favorite podcast.
The Humboldt Park restaurant’s four-part dinner series was inspired by “My Favorite Murder,” a hugely popular podcast series that covers killers and crimes from around the world. The series is so popular its fans meet up to discuss episodes and refer to themselves as “murderinos” — but even non-murderinos can come to Split-Rail’s themed meals.
Attendees will get a cocktail with conversation starters to kick off each meal before noshing on a family-style dinner, according to a news release. The dinners will be themed around one of the show’s many catchphrases.
Here’s the lineup:
• Oct. 30: Stay Out of the Forest
• Nov. 6: Pepper Spray First Apologize Later
• Dec. 11: Find Your Own Paul Onions
• Dec. 18: Sweet Honesty
Each dinner starts 7 p.m. and is held at Split-Rail, 2500 W. Chicago Ave.
The Stay Out of the Forest dinner will cost $60, including food and drink. Tickets for the dinners can be bought online.
