LINCOLN SQUARE — Paciugo Gelato Caffè has closed all of its Chicago shops, according to a sign posted inside its Lincoln Square location.
Anyone strolling through Giddings Plaza since last week may have noticed a sign posted to the Paciugo at 2324 W. Giddings St. in Lincoln Square.
“Thank you for your patronage! All good things must come to an end. All Paciugo locations are permanently closed,” the sign said.

The Lakeview and Roscoe Village Paciugo Gelato locations also appear to be closed.
Calls to the Paciugo location at 3241 N. Broadway in Lakeview went to an an automated message that said “all circuits were busy.” Calls to the 2009 W. Roscoe St. in Roscoe Village immediately went to a recorded message that gave the Roscoe Village location’s hours.
Neighbors first noticed the Lincoln Square store closed after a social media post last Wednesday on a Facebook group for Lincoln Square mothers.
Multiple messages left with Paciugo’s American headquarters in Dallas, Texas were not returned.
