CHICAGO — A 64-year-old man was shot Tuesday night as he sat on his East Side porch.
At 9:15 p.m., the man was on his front porch in the 9600 block of South Ewing Avenue when someone in all-black clothing fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his upper left leg. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody. An investigation was ongoing.
