ROSCOE VILLAGE — PAWS Chicago is hosting a massive adoption event Sunday in Roscoe Village.

PAWS, the city’s largest no-kill shelter, is teaming up with other shelters to find homes for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at the Angels With Tails event, according to a PAWS Chicago news release.

Dozens of businesses along Roscoe Street will open their storefronts and sidewalks to animals in need of a home and attendees will be able to walk by and see what pets are up for adoption.

Those who find a new furry family member will be able to adopt him or her at the event. Those who wish to adopt must meet PAWS’ requirements, which include being at least 21 years old, having a government-issued ID and verifying you can have a pet at your home.

The event runs noon-4 p.m. Sunday at businesses on Roscoe Street between Oakley and Damen avenues.
