CHICAGO — HQ Beercade is hosting a “Mean Girls” night and it’s going to be totally fetch.

The bar at 213 W. Institute Place is celebrating “Mean Girls” Day on Wednesday with a “You Can Sit With Us” tribute night, according to the bar. The night will feature several nods to the beloved movie, starting with its date: Oct. 3, when heartthrob Aaron Samuels asks Cady Heron what day it is in the movie.

The day is now celebrated as “Mean Girls Day.”

Guests who wear pink (a must for “mean girls” clique on Wednesdays) will get 50 percent off their tab. There will also be a special cocktail dubbed the “Burn Book” in honor of the clique’s gossip-filled journal, and half of the proceeds from the cocktail will be donated to breast cancer research.

The bar will host “Mean Girls” trivia starting at 7 p.m., and the movie will be screened at 9 p.m.

HQ Beercade’s event runs 7-11 p.m. Wednesday at the bar, 213 W. Institute Place.
