CHICAGO — Rosehill Cemetery will play host to a spooky 5K for charity.

The Rosehill Cemetery Crypt 5K is returning for the seventh year on Oct. 6. Participants will be able to do a timed or just-for-fun candlelit 5K through the cemetery. They’ll be able to see the historic cemetery’s monuments and mausoleums.

Afterward, attendees will be able to go to an after-party at the nearby Fireside Restaurant and Lounge.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go the American Diabetes Association’s local chapter.

The event starts 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at the entrance of Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave.

Registration for the timed run is $38 online or $43 at the event, and the fun run is $34 online or $39 at the event. The after-party is at Fireside Restaurant and Lounge, 5739 N. Ravenswood Ave.
