Police Looking For Car Seen Near Irving Park Hit-And-Run That Left Man Badly Injured

The victim had life-threatening injuries, police said.

CHICAGO — Police are asking for help finding a car seen near a hit-and-run in Irving Park.

The crash happened 9:30 p.m. Sept. 1 when a man was hit by a car in the 3900 block of North Pulaski Road, according to a Chicago Police community alert.

The driver didn’t stop to help the man, who had what police called “life-threatening injuries.”

A dark-colored SUV was seen passing the location at the time of the hit-and-run, and police are trying to find the driver. They released images of the car early Friday.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run was asked to call police at 312-745-4521.
