CHICAGO — The Edgewater Arts Festival will showcase work from dozens of local artists while highlighting the area’s businesses.
The late September festival will feature paintings, jewelry, pottery and other items from 100 Chicago-based artists. Young artists from local schools will also have their art displayed in the Young Artists’ Gallery.
There will also be three stages with live music, a beer and wine garden, and attendees will be able to get food from Granville Avenue restaurants. Cover band Great Moments in Vinyl will co-headline with La Tosca, and there will be more than 50 musical performers, with the acts spanning from barbershop singing to jazz, African drumming and Fleetwood Mac covers.
The festival runs 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 29-30 on Granville Avenue between Broadway Street and Sheridan Road. Admission is a suggested donation of $5.
