LOGAN SQUARE — Police are warning of burglars breaking into businesses in Logan Square and Bucktown.

According to a police-issued community alert, burglars broke into two businesses late Sept. 4.

The incidents happened in the:

  • 1800 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at 5:51a.m.
  • 2500 block of West Armitage Avenue at 11:30 p.m.

In both incidents, the burglars broke in and stole property.

Police released surveillance photos in hopes of finding the burglars. Detectives believe the same two burglars are responsible for both incidents.

Family-owned restaurant Irazu was one of the businesses hit.

“He looked like a hipster, like he could be one of our customers,” Henry Cerdas, co-owner of Irazu, told Block Club Chicago.

Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at (312) 744-8263.
