IRVING PARK — Residents should plan around temporary parking restrictions set to begin next Monday.

In an update to residents Friday, Ald. John Arena’s 45th Ward office said a street resurfacing project on Addison Street, between Keeler and Avondale avenues, will require temporary “no parking” signs to be put up along the half-mile stretch.

“The work will include [Americans with Disabilities] sidewalk improvements, curb and gutter removal and replacement, milling and paving the existing asphalt pavement, and striping,” the update said.

Owen Brugh, Ald. Arena’s chief of staff, said the Chicago Department of Transportation does not intend to close any streets as part of the work.

The roadwork is expected to be completed by Nov. 2.
