CHICAGO — An argument over money led to a double stabbing Wednesday night near the Chicago River in the West Loop, police said.

At 10:31 p.m., someone stabbed a 36-year-old man and 37-year-old woman in the 500 block of West Fulton Street, police said.

The man was stabbed in his neck and was in critical condition, while the woman was stabbed in her head and her condition stabilized, police said. The two were taken to Northwestern Hospital.

The man and the attacker had fought about money earlier in the night, police said.

No one was in custody.
