CHICAGO — An upcoming event will celebrate the work of Far South Side artists.
The Beverly Art Walk, which starts Sept. 29, will feature work from nearly 200 artists and artisans from the area. Attendees will be able to view the work in storefronts and businesses and buy items, including photos, paintings, jewelry and fabrics.
The Art Walk will also feature dance, live music and other activities. There will be craft beer and food trucks. Kids will be able to make kites and fold origami cranes, among other things.
The event runs noon-7 p.m. Sept. 29 from West 95th Street to 111th Street and from South Western Avenue to the Metra line on South Wood Street. There will be free trolleys to take visitors around.
