CHICAGO — Hyde Park is celebrating the start of fall with a weekend festival.
The Fall Forward Festival — called Brews, Brats & Brass in past years — will feature whiskey tastings, autumn beer and cider and food from Krave, Surf’s Up and other vendors.
There will be live music from Lee Farmer, Gemini Jones and other performers.
The festival runs 5-10 p.m. Sept. 14, 2-10 p.m. Sept. 15 and 2-8 p.m. Sept. 16 at East 53rd Street and South Lake Park Avenue West. Admission is $15, which includes one ticket for beer or wine, or $30 for a three-day pass.
Whiskey sampling is 3-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
