CHICAGO — A man tried to touch a person inside an elevator Friday on the Near North Side, police said.
At 2 a.m., the victim got inside an elevator in a building in the 800 block of North Clark Street and the man came in after the victim, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The man then tried to inappropriately touch the victim, police said. The victim cried out for help and the man ran away.
The man was black, 30-45 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-3 and 180-210 pounds, police said. He was bald and wore an Under Armour shirt that was dark blue with white lettering, gray shorts with blue stripes on the side and white gym shoes.
