MORGAN PARK — Officers found six guns inside a party bus Tuesday afternoon in Morgan Park on the Far South Side, police said.
At 3 p.m., Area South’s Gang Enforcement Team stopped a party bus in the 2500 block of West 115th Street, police said. The officers spoke with the driver of the bus, who said officers could search the bus.
Several people got off the bus and officers found and took six guns from inside the bus, police said.
The people inside the bus were participating in a memorial service, according to a tweet from Anthony Guglielmi, a Chicago Police spokesman.
No one was immediately taken into custody.
